Caution! Ruzzkiy mir!

On December 30, 2022, the museum presented its last exhibition of this difficult, wartime year. It tells a story of Russian propaganda and its specifics in the occupied city of Kherson, and reflects the values, concepts and ideological orientations of the "Ruzzkiy mir (Russian world)". Bright flags of the Russian Federation and the "Republic of Kherson", stacks of propaganda materials, fake publications, "religious" propaganda, etc. are on display under the vault of the Lower Moscow Gate of the Pechersk fortress (18th century). An array of evidence of the global thoughtfulness and long-term preparation of the Russian ideological machine for zombification of Ukrainians.

On November 11, 2022, the city of Kherson was liberated from enemy occupation. During the curatorial tour, the author of the idea and the curator of the project Yurii Savchuk spoke about the incredible experience of collecting and documenting evidence of enemy presence in the first days after the liberation of the city. He also passionately talked about the compositional ideas and structural blocks of the exhibition. There are following conditional thematic zoning: an array of Russian propaganda; a recreated office of a collaborator, which was equipped in the premises of the Kherson Regional Intersectoral Council of Trade Unions, a pseudo-referendum on joining the Russian Federation; a recreated classroom of school No. 27 in Kherson - a room furnished by the occupiers, in which, fortunately, the children never studied "Russian history".

"This exhibition should be exhibited abroad. The world must see the facts of total lies, manipulations, misinformation, pseudo-narratives and evidence of boundless hostility towards everything Ukrainian," Andrii Kogut, Director of the Branch State Archive of the Security Service of Ukraine, said at the opening of the exhibition.

The museum really works a lot on the international information front. New ideas and projects will definitely become possible, because we are sure of the support and help of our reliable partner - Nova Poshta. For example, their team responded immediately to the Museum’s request to deliver a unique cargo from Kherson. We sincerely thank the co-founder of this postal service, Vyacheslav Klymov, and the head of reputation management of Nova Poshta, Olena Plakhova, for their trust and efficiency.

We immediately transformed the newly brought materials into a new exhibition. The fact that the new project was implemented in just three days impressed everyone present. In fact, we once again surprised ourselves with such a record of creating exhibitions. Come to the Museum and see live the blatant evidence of subversive activities of the Kremlin regime against the people of Ukraine and its state. Have time to visit the unique project before January 30, 2023.
