The Museum’s collections hold a vast number of unique sources from the years of the Second World War. Diaries, letters, newspapers, photographs, and works of art—all these artifacts are unique testimonies to the historical drama that unfolded on Ukrainian soil eight decades ago.
Workshop participants, guided by a museum specialist, will study and discuss personal sources from the War Museum’s collection—diaries and letters of Ukrainian residents during the Second World War. This is an opportunity to look behind the scenes of museum work and learn more about how previous generations of Ukrainians experienced the largest armed conflict in history.
The workshop, aimed at high school students and university students, is suitable for both individual and group work with the Museum’s collection sources.
