Rehabilitation through Culture

Art therapy

Art therapy is an effective tool for restoring mental health. The creative process helps to work through the trauma of war and relieve psychological tension. Healing begins with the ability to express what is difficult to put into words.

The War Museum is expanding its rehabilitation efforts by introducing cultural programs and conducting art therapy sessions for military personnel and their families. These initiatives aim to provide psycho-emotional support and help individuals cope with stress. During the sessions, museum staff utilize art therapy techniques and psychosocial rehabilitation practices.

Art therapy is gaining popularity and is in high demand within society. The group setting fosters an atmosphere of mutual support and empathetic communication, enhancing the satisfaction derived from the creative process. The War Museum invites art therapists, artists, and psychology experts to participate in therapeutic activities for defenders and their families.
