MONUMENT

21 August 2025

The exhibition project "MONUMENT" is the quintessence of the modern image of sculpture. Through the prism of the vision of two artists – photographer Denys Semenets and graphic designer Vadym Blonskyi – Motherland Monument appears both as a work of art and as a symbol. The photographer captures the moment, and the designer complements the monument with relevant meanings.

The works of Denys and Vadym have already gained immense popularity on social networks, they are known far beyond the borders of Ukraine. Millions of people admire the creative, sensual and sometimes topical images of the Motherland Monument. The statue has become the unifying force that creates an energy bridge between the Museum, artists and Ukrainian society in the real and virtual worlds.

This exhibition is an intermediate stage of a three-year process of redefinition – a stop at a moment that allows us to comprehend what has already been embodied, feel the present and look into the future
