Values

2 April 2026

The exhibition explores the concepts fundamental to Ukrainian identity — freedom, dignity, memory, responsibility, continuity of tradition, and the ability to resist. Through the language of contemporary sculpture and jewelry plastic art, the project combines historical memory, national archetypes, and the experience of Ukraine’s ongoing struggle.

At the center of the exhibition is a modern reinterpretation of the “Motherland Monument.” Transferred into the format of small-scale plastic art, this monumental symbol acquires a human scale and becomes part of a direct dialogue with the viewer.

The sculptures unite state symbolism, Cossack epic motifs, and images of contemporary Ukrainian resistance. Within the artistic language of the exhibition, the saber appears alongside the Javelin, while fragments of the aggressor’s weapons are reimagined as elements of artistic form.

“Values” is a reflection on the continuity of Ukrainian strength — from the Cossack era to the present day — and on art as a way of interpreting war and preserving national memory.
