Kherson. Aqua Alta

The exhibition of the photographs by Victoria Ivleva. The exposition reveals the tragedy of Kherson after blowing up the Kakhovka HPP’s dam by russians in the night of June 6, 2023.

Two days after the invaders’crime, the journalist Victoria Ivleva arrived in the city. For almost two months, she had been documenting the consequenses of catastrophe. Dozens of thousands people found themselves amidst the disaster. Almost 100 settlements were flooded.

This photographic evidence demonstrates the scales of ruination and people trying to survive in the affected area.
