A hands-on training session on providing first aid was held at the museum

Our partners / Events / 27 July 2026

Over four hours, participants not only familiarised themselves with response algorithms in critical situations, but also practised extensively: stopping massive bleeding, applying tourniquets, practising wound packing, restoring airway patency and performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation using mannequins, an Ambu bag and an automated defibrillator.

We have received many warm, grateful reviews from the participants. The most valuable thing is knowing that people leave the training with skills that one day will help save someone’s life.

We sincerely thank the instructors of The 12th Special Forces Brigade Azov for their high professionalism, experience, openness and quality instruction. For the War Museum, this collaboration is extremely valuable.

We are planning our next joint event – an in-depth Basic Life Support (BLS) course, so that participants can even more confidently practise their cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills and providing care until medics arrive.

Thank you to everyone who was with us. Until next time!
