The Museum once again became a venue where the newest history of our struggle is being made. The final event of the nationwide campaign “Tasty Because It’s for Drones!” took place here.
The charitable foundation “Modern Ukraine”, together with Ukrainian restaurateurs, handed over a second batch of 50 “SECRET BOXes” to intelligence operatives. Each box contains an FPV drone, fiber-optic cable, and a combat payload. These “birds” will not remain in storage – immediately after the handover, they will be deployed on combat missions to destroy the enemy and its strategic targets.
During his speech, Yurii Savchuk, Director General of the Museum, emphasized the special symbolism of the location where the event took place: “We are not merely the Museum grounds – this is a special place of strength, faith, and a symbol of our resilience.”
The campaign united more than 170 establishments and thousands of Ukrainians. Volodymyr Havrysh, President of the “Modern Ukraine” Charitable Foundation, summed up the fundraising effort, which reached 5 million UAH (100 “SECRET BOXes”): “We have one goal – to endure, to win, and to live under a peaceful sky. Thank you to everyone who contributed. We have closed this fundraiser, but we are not stopping.”
The drones were received by the legendary “Shaman” special unit of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, whose fighters carry out missions both on the frontline and deep in enemy rear areas.
Yevhenii Yerin, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, emphasized the critical importance of such assistance: “Every tool matters, and every person is invaluable. Thank you to everyone who cares. Together, we will achieve victory.”
A fighter from the “Shaman” special unit added that these drones primarily mean saved lives of fellow soldiers: “Every fighter gives the most valuable thing – their life. Everything you do helps preserve our people. This is our faith that we are not alone in this struggle.”
We thank the “Modern Ukraine” Foundation for many years of cooperation and all partners of the project. We believe that the transferred drones will work with maximum effectiveness on the frontline.
