A solemn event of the Northern Territorial Department of the National Guard of Ukraine was held at the War Museum on the 11th anniversary of the creation of the National Guard of Ukraine.
The Head of the Northern Territorial Administration, Colonel Artem Iliukhin, noted in his welcoming speech that the National Guard of Ukraine is "both operational brigades that are currently fighting in the east of our country, and units for the protection of public order, escorting, protecting important state facilities, and protecting state authorities" and thanked the Defenders for their service.
The event was attended by representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kyiv City State Administration, Kyiv City Military Administration, Department of the State Protection, National Police, Security Service of Ukraine, State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Ukrainian Military Law-Enforcement Service, public organizations, and educators. In their concise but sincere speeches, the guests expressed deep respect for the National Guard and presented the service members with state and departmental awards, letters of commendation, certificates, and commemorative gifts.
Star guests also greeted the guardsmen: the Exemplary Choreographic Ensemble "Suzirya," MamaRika, Dmytro Shurov, Anastasiya Karabut, Oleksandr Polozhynskyi, Arsen Mirzoian.
