On Saturday, February 8, at 14:00, the play "Balance" will be shown at the War Museum.
Art is another way to talk about what hurts, an opportunity to find balance when the most important landmarks are shaking. Alina Sarnatska’s play is about the absurdity of war and the attempt to preserve oneself in a world where everything seems destroyed.
Loss, jokes, trauma, childhood memories, friendship, danger, and the reality unfolding on the front lines await you in "Balance."
The event will take place in the format of a performative reading with the participation of Kateryna Zelinska, Varvara Rubanenko, Andrii Kravchuk. The director is Yevheniia Nepytaliuk.
Alina Sarnatska is a veteran, human rights activist, and radio host. Winner of the drama competitions "July Honey 2024" and "Topical Play Week 2024", as well as the war literature competition "4.5.0" in the "Short Story" category.
We will be waiting for you in the exhibition space "War: Inverse Perspective" in the Main Building of the War Museum (under the Motherland Monument).
Entry to the event is available with a museum ticket and registration.
