We invite you to an event that bridges the theatrical history of Kyiv during the Second World War with modern-day realities. We will discuss the operation of theaters during the Nazi occupation, their role in the city’s cultural life, and the difficult choices faced by artists of that era.
The highlight of the event will be a meeting with the actors from the “Night at the University” project. They will share their experiences of contemporary theater in a time of war, discuss art as a means of preserving memory, and reflect on what it means to create while history is unfolding right beside you.
