The War Museum hosted one of the largest international events of the year – a conference organized by BRAND UKRAINE. It brought together professionals from public administration, diplomacy, international business, communications, as well as civic and cultural leaders.
Our institution joined the charity auction held as part of the program, offering one of the most valuable lots: a certificate for an ascent to the shield of the “Motherland” monument (91.1 m). It was sold for 30,000 UAH, with all proceeds directed to support the units of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
Moreover, thanks to the auction and the active participation of the Museum team, the collection was enriched with unique artifacts – Timothy Snyder’s book On Freedom signed by the author, and a tactical watch bearing the autograph of Kyrylo Budanov.
The War Museum and the “Motherland” monument became not merely a venue, but a symbolic and visual landmark of the event. The monument served as the centerpiece of the immersive light installation Light Shield: The Power of Values – the sculpture was illuminated with a 3D projection that blended light and sound into an artistic performance.
