As part of the official visit of Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, a ceremonial handover of special vehicles for the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine took place on the grounds of the War Museum.
The event was attended by Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko and Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Lieutenant General Serhii Deineko.
Representatives of Ukraine’s security and defense sector received 20 off-road vehicles, purchased with funds from the European Union as part of its support for Ukraine. The ceremony was held on the main square of the War Museum, at the foot of the Motherland Monument.
For the Museum, it is an honor to serve as a venue for the implementation of international initiatives. Such events emphasize the consistent support of Ukraine by the European community, while also demonstrating that the War Museum is a space where modern expressions of solidarity and assistance acquire special symbolic significance.
