On September 1 at 3:00 PM, the War Museum invites you to a lecture-discussion dedicated to the topic of information security and countering Russian propaganda.
The speaker, Alya Goldmeykher—journalist, author of a documentary film about the Georgian Legion, and head of the Legion’s press office—will share practical knowledge, experience, and strategies for combating disinformation faced daily by journalists, military personnel, and civilians.
During the session, Alya Goldmeykher will address the following issues:
- mechanisms of Russian propaganda dissemination;
- methods for identifying and countering it, using the Georgian National Legion as an example;
- the role of independent journalism in times of war;
- examples of successful international information campaigns.
The discussion will be moderated by Serhii Siryi, Head of the War Museum’s Military History Research Sector.
