On Saturday, April 4, at 14:00, a curator-guided tour of the exhibition «KHERSON: UN/STOLEN. Studies and Homages» will take place with the project coordinator Roza Tapanova. The event aims to support the Kherson Art Museum.
This project has united artists from various regions of Ukraine – those who, despite the war, continue to create. At the core of the exhibition are studies and homages created by contemporary Ukrainian artists in honor of the works stolen from the museum. These are not just reconstructions – this is a reinterpretation, a modern conversation with the past and evidence that culture cannot be stolen or destroyed.
Roza Tapanova is a Kherson native, lawyer, advocate and public figure who, since February 2021, has headed the National Historical and Memorial Reserve «Babyn Yar» and carries out work to preserve the memory of the Holocaust.
We invite you to the tour!
