Literature throughout all times has been not only the embodiment of artists’ reflections but also the mouthpiece of society. This is especially evident during periods of great social upheaval, particularly wars.
We invite you to a museum literary journey dedicated to wartime poetry. You will immerse yourselves in the works of famous writers—the heroes of the museum exhibitions—learn about the life circumstances and creative development of such Ukrainian artists as Pavlo Tychyna, Lina Kostenko, and Oles Honchar, get acquainted with the poetic tradition of Ukrainian insurgents, and trace the intertwining of poetry and war in the works of poet and serviceman Maksym Kryvtsov.
