Recently, the War Museum hosted the All-Ukrainian Youth Forum “Nation-Builder. Generation of Resilience”. The future of the country –conscious students who are building Ukraine here and now – gathered in our institution.

The event was opened by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, who emphasized the importance of cooperation between the government and youth for the common goal – the victory of democracy, for which Ukraine’s best sons and daughters fight daily on the battlefield. Participants had the opportunity to engage with high-ranking officials, including Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Matvii Bidnyi, representatives of UNICEF, the Presidential Office, and the Ministry of Education and Science.

The program featured panel discussions dedicated to rebuilding the country, youth involvement in state reforms, business during wartime, and partnerships with donors.

The forum concluded with remarks by Hero of Ukraine, veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, and founder of the “Stalevi” charitable foundation, Serhii Volynskyi (“Volyna”). He shared his vision of resilience and spoke about how he preserves it despite all the hardships he had to endure.

“I know what it is to be on the edge — morally and physically. But I also know that resilience is not something we are born with, it is a choice we make every day”, Volyna summed up his speech with these powerful words.

We are proud that the War Museum has once again become the venue for such socially significant events, as young people are not only our future but also our present, actively building and developing Ukraine.
