War: Inverse Perspective allows us to examine the reality of the past war from a distant viewpoint. This helps us understand the causes of current events and imagine what may happen in the future. It is a large-scale artistic experiment aimed at rethinking the history and present of the Ukrainian people during armed conflict with the aggressor. The project consistently compares the art and records of the Second World War and the russian-Ukrainian War, highlighting the shared trauma and hope of current and past generations of Ukrainians.
This exhibition attempts to cover the history of the Second World War and the russian-Ukrainian War through artistic reflections. The curators have chosen artworks depicting various imagery and ideas, reflecting the most tragic periods of Ukrainian history.
