We invite you to an open conversation with Vladyslav Dutchak (“Dotsent”) – a military historian, instructor at the “Azov” NCO School, defender of Mariupol, and former prisoner of war.
We will discuss the role of studying history in military training; how russia uses historical myths as instruments of war and propaganda, a phenomenon that remains insufficiently understood; and the experience of captivity and the lessons we must begin drawing from it today.
Following the anniversary of the terrorist attack at Olenivka, we will come together to honour the memory of those who died in captivity and to give attention to stories that must be heard.
We invite you to the War Museum for a conversation about how the history we are witnessing today is being made.
During the event, we will raise funds as part of the “Mission: Stadium” campaign by @tylovyky to purchase drones for the “Azov” Brigade.
