The War Museum has long worked with documents such as death or missing reports of World War II servicemen, lists, and books of records of fallen soldiers. They are uncompromising evidence not only of the colossal contribution of Ukrainians to the victory over Nazism but also of the high price paid by our people.

During the museum event, participants will familiarize themselves with documents that reflect the tragedy of human losses and learn about the creation and filling of the All-Ukrainian database of Ukrainians killed in the Second World War.

A separate part of the event will be dedicated to the unique experience of the Museum’s researchers, who identify the places where soldiers died, notify their descendants about this, and help them preserve their family memory of the war.
