"Stars and Stripes"

On December 7, 1941, the Japanese attack on the American naval base Pearl Harbor in Hawaii led to the entry of the United States into the Second World War.

During the museum session “Stars and Stripes,” guide Alla Hrushetska will discuss the combat experience of American troops in the largest war in human history. Special attention will be paid to the stories of Ukrainians, tens of thousands of whom fought in the ranks of the US Army. You will also learn about American volunteer fighters who have currently joined the defense of Ukraine during the russian invasion. Specifically, the focus of the discussion will be the fates of Americans of Ukrainian descent who died defending Ukraine from russian aggression.

Cost: 100 UAH (for schoolchildren and students), 150 UAH (for adults)
