The blue-and-yellow flag has been a symbol of Ukrainian statehood and our people’s struggle for freedom for several centuries.
We invite you to attend a thematic lecture dedicated to the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine, where you will learn about the history of the Ukrainian flag from the events of the "Spring of Nations" to the turbulent 20th century, marked by world wars, the occupation of Ukrainian territories, and the Ukrainian liberation movement’s fight for the revival of the state.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to see a unique relic of the Russian-Ukrainian war – the Ukrainian flag that flew over the Azovstal plant during the defense of Mariupol.
We eagerly await you!
