New artifacts have been received by the Museum’s funds from the Main Directorate of Intelligence. The exhibits were handed over by Main Directorate of Intelligence representative Yevhenii Yerin and Head of the Military Chaplaincy Service of the Main Directorate of Intelligence Father Kostiantyn Kholodov.
Among the items transferred are: – a copy of the official Main Directorate of Intelligence icon depicting the patron saint of intelligence, Archangel Gabriel, and a prayer book containing the prayer of an intelligence officer.
The Museum systematically researches the topic of military chaplaincy, therefore these symbols of faith, service, and inner strength of those who work in silence every day, often without the right to publicity, will become an important part of our collection.
We are grateful to the Main Directorate of Intelligence for their trust and for the fact that, not for the first time, they are transferring to the Museum objects that shape the living history of the modern war.
We work together for memory and the future.
