Michael Diment’s book is his diary. In it, an ordinary Jew from the Volyn town of Svyniukhy (now the village of Pryvitne, Volodymyr district) recorded his experiences during the years of Nazi occupation.
His escape from the ghetto on the eve of liquidation and wandering for almost two years in the Volyn area in search of shelter, hiding with former neighbors and friends—we will discuss all this at the Museum Book Club meeting.
