Transfer of Artifacts of the russian-Ukrainian War to the Museum Collection

On May 29 at 12:00, the official transfer of artifacts of the russian-Ukrainian war to the Museum’s collection will take place. The materials will be handed over personally by the commander of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine, Major Oleh Shyriaiev.

Approximately 200 items will be added to the Museum’s collection. These items include fragments of enemy UAVs, personal weapons of russian soldiers, military equipment, armbands, and even awards. All artifacts were obtained by Ukrainian soldiers during intense battles for every inch of our land. These trophies serve as powerful evidence of the aggressive actions of russia. As museum exhibits, they will educate future generations about the war, reveal the true face of the enemy, and highlight the courage of our defenders, who bravely and skillfully repel the occupiers.

During the event, Major Oleh Shyriaiev will introduce attendees to the origins and history of the items that will be included in the Museum’s collection. He will discuss the unique features of these artifacts and share the combat history of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
