As part of her visit to Ukraine, Her Royal Highness Princess Anne of the United Kingdom visited the War Museum. The distinguished guest toured the exhibitions and the Memorial grounds and spoke with women serving in the National Police and the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The discussion touched on important issues — the experiences of Ukrainian women defending their country, the current challenges they face, and the growing role of women in Ukraine’s defense and security sector.
Afterward, Princess Anne met with the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, and the Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights and Child Rehabilitation, Daria Herasymchuk. Together, they viewed the multimedia project “Children…” — a martyrology of the killed young Ukrainians. The distinguished guest commemorated the children whose lives were cut short by russian aggression.
