The Kalynovsky Regiment

30 November 2023

The exhibition highlights the combat experience of the Belarusian Kastus Kalinoŭski Regiment at the fronts of the russian-Ukrainian war. The organization of the Belarusian national structures in Ukraine began shortly after the Revolution of Dignity. In the March of 2022, the battalion was formed, and on May 21, 2022, it was reorganized into a regiment consisting of the “Litvin” and “Volat” battalions named in honor of the fallen warriors. The regiment continues to perform combat missions at the front, defending Ukraine and fighting for free Belarus.

The artifacts and photos displayed at the exhibition illustrate the difficult experience of the Belarusian volunteer fighters. Their faces are covered: they and their families are under the risk of repressions in their homeland. However, remembering the fallen brothers-in-arms, the Kalinoŭski regiment goes to victory over the bloody empire. The names of heroes will proudly sound in their native Belarus!
