On May 20, 2022, Russian invaders took away the last Ukrainian prisoner from the territory of the plant “Azovstal”, and starting then the city was under complete occupation. A year later, we talked once again about Mariupol - the city-martyr, the city-fortress, and remembered how the world watched the fierce struggle of Ukrainian defenders for 86 days, from February 24 to May 20, the destruction of innocent lives, how we all became virtual eyewitnesses of the transformation of blocks of the blooming City of Mary into ashes.
