The exhibition is dedicated to the history of the Azov Brigade. 10 years ago, a few dozen volunteers of the Azov Battalion on the Sofiyska Square in Kyiv took an oath of loyalty to Ukraine and went to defend it.
The exhibition features the samples of uniforms of the fighters showing the evolution of the unit from the partisan formation to the 12th Special Purpose Brigade “Azov” named after Dmytro Vyshnevetsky of the National Guard of Ukraine. The other exhibits are fragments of the Iskander-M missile, personal sleeve patches of the Azov fighters and the installation dedicated to the warriors who perished because of the terrorist act in the Olenivka camp for prisoners of war.
The fighters, who take part in the fiercest battles, regularly prove the motto “No glory without battle”. They liberated Mariupol in 2014, conducted Pavlopil-Shyrokyne offensive, fought at the Svitlodarsk bulge and heroically defended Mariupol during 86 days.
