Our Treasury

23 October 2023

The exhibition reveals the activities of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine in the nationwide social initiatives. The institution consistently supports folk traditions and joins the public events and social actions.

The map “Embroidered Ukraine” is on display. The treasury workers from all regions of Ukraine created it in August – October 2016. The first stitches were made in the East, the Treasury’s Directorate in the city of Toretsk, Donetsk region, with personal participation of the Treasury’s Head Tetiana Sliuz. The handmade talisman was raised twice on the Mount Hoverla, as well as on Montblanc, and brought to the Ukrainian Antarctic Research Station “Academician Vernadsky”. The tradition continued in 2023: the treasury community embroidered the new symbol of unity and patriotism by the Independence Day of Ukraine.

Part of exposition demonstrates the devotion of the treasury employees to their work in the wartime and resilience of these people. It features the flag from Alchevsk, which was brought across the front to the free territory of Ukraine during the city’s temporary occupation by Valentyna Kuraieva. Also, there is a missile fragment turn into a talisman with angel in 2023.
