The fierce battles for control of the city of Bakhmut, with heavy losses on both sides, are being called the bloodiest infantry battle since World War II.
The focus of the exhibition is on the personal belongings of the city’s defenders, true steel titans who wore down the enemy’s combat capabilities and broke their spirit. All of this was done through incredible efforts, in harsh weather conditions, with supply issues, and under constant fire. They offered relentless resistance to total evil, sacrificing their own lives in the fight for their homeland. Thus, their heroism is invaluable.
For the first time, photos from the battle for the city of Bakhmut, provided by officers of the press services of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, are presented in a single exhibition space.
