"Tora! Tora! Tora!" (Tiger! Tiger! Tiger!) was the signal on the radio of the Japanese troops before the attack that changed the course of World War II. On December 7, 1941, Japan attacked the American base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, prompting the United States to enter World War II.
During the museum lesson, "A Common Struggle," the guide, Alla Hrushetska, will talk about the combat experience of American troops in those years. Particular attention will be paid to the stories of Ukrainians, tens of thousands of whom fought in the U.S. Army. You will also learn about the American volunteers who are currently defending Ukraine during the Russian invasion.
