We invite you to dive into the history of radio—one of the most significant inventions that profoundly shaped world history, especially during times of conflict.
We will explore the confrontations on the airwaves: from Franklin D. Roosevelt's famous “fireside chats” to the propaganda manipulations of Joseph Goebbels. Special attention will be given to the Ukrainian airwaves and the operations of “Aphrodite,” the underground UPA radio station that broadcast the voice of Ukraine during its darkest hours.
During this museum session, you will have the opportunity to see unique artifacts from our collection—silent witnesses to history’s most dramatic events.
