Oles Honchar lived a complex life: a participant in the Second World War, a renowned writer of the Soviet era, and a man who confronted the system in the name of truth and justice.
During this museum session, we will discuss the author’s works written during the Second World War and his memoirs of time spent as a prisoner of war. You will also have the opportunity to participate in an “open mic” session to share your own impressions and thoughts on Oles Honchar’s literary legacy, the significance of the Second World War theme in his writing, and the contribution of Ukrainians to the struggle against Nazism in Europe.
