On 17 July at 15:00, the War Museum invites you to a meeting with Andrii Fur (“Beskyda”), commander of a UAV battery of the 15th Separate Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade “Black Forest” and pilot of the “Furia” unmanned aerial system.
Back in 2020, Andrii consciously chose a military path by mastering the profession of UAV operator. When the full-scale invasion began, he was already an experienced serviceman. Together with his crew, he carried out combat missions in Kyiv Oblast, in the areas of Hostomel, Irpin, and Moshchun, conducting aerial reconnaissance, identifying enemy positions, adjusting artillery fire, and providing Ukrainian units with critically important information.
During the meeting, Andrii Fur will speak about the combat work of UAV crews, the development of unmanned technologies in the Ukrainian military, their role on the modern battlefield, and the people behind every successful flight.
The event is organised by the War Museum together with Athlon Avia Scientific – Production Enterprise, the Ukrainian developer of the “Furia” unmanned aerial system.
We invite everyone interested to join the conversation about modern warfare, technology, and the people who bring Ukraine’s victory closer every day.
