The history of the Second World War can reveal itself to every visitor in a new way: one only needs to open the pages of a literary work—be it poetry or prose.
The heroes of the “Time Capsule” exhibition are not only soldiers, politicians, or eyewitnesses to the war; they are also artists who shaped a new cultural landscape, such as Pavlo Tychyna or the common UPA (Ukrainian Insurgent Army) rebel Ostap Boiarchuk. This literary journey is dedicated to this specific dimension of the Second World War. During the event, you will not only hear Oles Honchar’s poem “To Ukraine” or Lina Kostenko’s “Wires” but also have the opportunity to read or even recite works by famous artists—or even your own.
