“Under the gun of Propaganda: How the Language of Hate Became a Weapon”

Excursions and interactive events / 9 November 2025

On November 9, 1938, the night known as Kristallnacht (The Night of Broken Glass) took place in the Third Reich—the first large-scale act of terror against Jews: over 1,400 synagogues were burned, approximately 7,500 shops were destroyed, hundreds of people were killed, and 30,000 people were arrested. The International Day Against Fascism and Antisemitism was established in memory of these events.

We invite you to an interactive guided tour and workshop where you will learn about the historical origins of Nazi propaganda based on authentic materials exhibited at the “Time Capsule” exhibition. Together, we will also identify the parallels between historical propaganda methods and the modern information war against Ukraine. By completing practical tasks, you will learn to recognize manipulation, verify information, and counter fakes.
