All-Ukrainian Online Lesson “Our Victory”

Children at the Museum / Events / 2 September 2025

On September 2, the day marking the end of World War II, the Museum held an online lesson titled “Our Victory” in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Institute of Education Development. The event took place within the framework of the Museum’s project of the same name, aimed at honoring and highlighting the contribution of the Ukrainian people to the victory over Nazism and emphasizing the high price of this triumph.

The museum’s lesson was attended by students not only from Ukraine but also from various parts of the world: Zaporizhzhia Collegium “Elint,” Ternopil Educational and Upbringing Complex “Secondary School of I–III Degrees – Legal Lyceum № 2,” the online school SchoolToGo (covering more than 20 countries worldwide), and the Ukrainian school "BelUkrA-Onderwijs" from Antwerp. Additionally, the lesson was streamed on the Museum’s YouTube page, where the video garnered over 12,000 views within a few hours.

Museum staff covered a wide range of topics to comprehensively present the role of Ukrainians in the largest military conflict in human history: their military experience on the war fronts, the criminal policies of the Hitler and Stalin regimes on Ukrainian territory, the struggle for Ukrainian statehood, and the losses suffered by our country. At the conclusion of the lesson, all participants had the opportunity to take a test and receive a certificate of participation.
