Porajmos.The Genocide of the Roma People and the Memory of It

Every year on August 2, the world community honors the memory of the victims of the Nazi genocide of the Roma.

On the night of August 3, 1944, 2,897 Roma prisoners were killed in the Auschwitz concentration camp. In total, during World War II, about 500,000 Roma were killed by the Axis Powers.

You can learn about the tragic fate of the Roma community in Ukraine, which fell victim to the Nazi occupation more than 80 years ago, by taking a themed tour titled “Porajmos. The Genocide of the Roma People and the Memory of It.”

Price: 100 UAH (for schoolchildren and students), 150 UAH (for adults)
The ticket price covers both admission to the Museum and the guided tour.
