As in previous years, the War Museum participated in the annual Arsenal of Ideas Festival, presenting a unique program specially designed for its young visitors.
This year, the museum team invited children, teenagers, and families on a journey where history came alive through creative activities and unexpected formats. Together, we assembled puzzles of Ukrainian military uniforms from the period of the War of Independence, folded paper cranes as symbols of peace, created drawings inspired by famous paintings, decoded “censored letters,” explored the basics of animation, and even tried to identify artifacts by touch alone.
For the museum team, these three days became a space of play, dialogue, and new discoveries. The festival offered not only pleasant encounters but also opportunities to exchange experiences with colleagues from other institutions.
Once again, we proved: the Museum is living history that is constantly renewed. It emerges in dialogue with the visitor, in the shared experience and reflection on the past.
