President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi visited the War Museum.

It was the first visit of the Indian Prime Minister to Ukraine in the history of bilateral relations. His arrival coincided with the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine, which we celebrate before Independence Day.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Narendra Modi met at the War Museum. The leaders of the two countries visited the Multimedia project “Children…”—a martyrology of the youngest victims who died during the full-scale russian-Ukrainian war as a result of russian hostilities and terrorist attacks. The Multimedia exposition was created in cooperation with the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine in 2022 and presented on the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression. Unfortunately, due to the war crimes of the Kremlin regime, the martyrology is constantly updated with the names of new victims.

The Museum’s Director General, Yurii Savchuk, met the distinguished guests. The project curator, Iryna Kotsabiuk, gave a tour of the exhibition.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Narendra Modi were deeply affected by the Multimedia project. In keeping with the tradition, they placed children’s toys on the symbolic altar.

It is a great honor for the War Museum to host leaders from other countries and present its project during these difficult times.
