New school year with the War Museum!

More than 200 students and teachers of Kyiv schools started the new school year with the War Museum and attended a special educational program.

The students visited the exhibitions dedicated to World War II and the ongoing russian-Ukrainian war, as well as the “Sign on the Shield” exhibition, learning more about Ukraine’s history, the course of our nation’s current resistance to russian aggression, and the establishment of the Trident as Ukraine’s national symbol.

The young researchers were offered enjoyable, interactive activities: the museum staff prepared cognitive tasks and quizzes.

We ended the day with a surprise for the guests: an ascent to the observation platform of the Motherland Monument.

The Museum team wishes all educators, schoolchildren, and students a peaceful and successful school year. We hope to see you again and are always happy to see everyone who wants to study history of the past and present at the Museum!

Engage with history in a fun way!
